HamLog Updates ???

NICK.. are you planning any updates this year for Hamlog?. Here are a few to consider...

1. Create "AUTO-SAVE" for info added into the logging screen say after 3min? to be added to your existing  present log AUTOMATICALLY!!..

Now if you wait too long before manually updating the info to your log, it just logs you out and you lose the info after you log back in..  .NOT GOOD!!..

Adding an adjustable auto-save function to the logging screen for new QSO info will save a LOT of heartache. Now I have to use paper as a duplicate of info before again adding it to Hamlog as I'm afraid of losing the new contact info.

2. Expand on the "ADIF-EXPORT" menu for exporting log records by RECORD NUMBER  instead of exporting your entire log each time you have to update eQSL!..  

Can't think of any others right now. Most important is the AUTO-SAVE function...It's a great logger Nick, Let's make it even-better!!!

PLEASE INSTALL AUTO-SAVE  for the logging screen!!.

I"m sick and tired of losing logging info because you don't auto save to the log from the logging screen by a set interval....SAY 3 min!!..I"ve lost a total of 5 or 6 qso's of info which when I submitted the logging screen it asked me to login again and I LOST QSO INFO!!!..I"m getting tired of this stuff!!!!..

You might give me the courtesy of receiving my email or I will write a letter to you in the post office!!!..

LET me know when YOu have installd AUTO-SAVE for the logging screen. Then I will re-use the Hamlog, until that time i'm using cqrlog and Ubuntu so I won't lose my log info!!!!!

Adding an adjustable auto-save function to the logging screen for new QSO info will save a LOT of heartache. 

2. Expand on the "ADIF-EXPORT" menu for exporting log records by RECORD NUMBER  instead of exporting your entire log each time you have to update eQSL!..  

3. Add a seperate window similar to the "edit" window which would pop up showing "worked before" qsos, when you add a new call into the logging "call" field,  and also have a checkbox alongside the "call" indicating the current new call has been worked before..

Can't think of any others right now. Most important is the AUTO-SAVE function...It's a great logger Nick, Let's make it even-better!!!

Hi Dave,

I changed the session timeout after your email in November.  Are you still seeing the issue?  If so, I'll have an alternative to fix it without using stored session info on the webserver but I'll have to get it implemented.
