Good afternoon,

As students and staff that are highly involved in the campus community, we would like your help in identifying students that would be interested in taking part in the Tuition Review Advisory Committee (TRAC) during this academic year.

TRAC is an advisory body that was established to provide a written report to the president of the University that sets forth the recommendations, deliberations, and observations of the advisory body regarding tuition and mandatory enrollment fees for the upcoming academic year. Through participation in TRAC, students will gain a basic understanding of the university budgeting process and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) allocation mechanism as well as provide observations and input on tuition and mandatory fees based on the university mission, priorities, and the impact on students.

TRAC will meet in person from mid October through April and requires a time commitment of approximately 3-4 hours per month for meetings. Once the committee is formed, we will send out a scheduling poll to find times that best work for all committee members.

Please send the name and email of any interested students to bud...@pdx.edu by October 17th.

Thank you and let me know if you have any questions.

For more information please visit the TRAC webpage.

Kind regards,
University Budget Office
