Hi students,

I'm passing on a message from a colleague in the Theater department, Dr. Theresa Dudeck. Please reach out to Dr. Dudeck if you are interested in taking an improv class and haven't taken an improv course at PSU before.
Best,

Dr. Quam

-----------------------------
My Improvisational Acting II class has its own omnibus number for the first time this spring. It is also the first time that I've listed prerequisites. But I really want this class to fill, so I want to encourage students (undergrad & graduate) to reach out if they are interested and especially if they've had any previous improv, acting, and/or performance experience.

Would you please pass along the flyer (attached) to your listservs with the note to reach out to Dr. Dudeck if they are interested but haven't taken Improv I?

Much appreciated!
Theresa

Note that due to existing short staffing, and more expected from nearly 100 NTTF colleagues getting notice of layoffs, I will respond as soon as I am able. Email Governor Kotek about increasing funding for PSU. Edit this template letter to describe the impact of the previous decade of cuts to PSU and encourage your colleagues and students to do the same.

Portland State is located on the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Tumwater, Watlala bands of the Chinook, the Tualatin Kalapuya, and many other indigenous nations of the Columbia River (hayásh-tsəqʷ in the Chinook language). We acknowledge the ancestors of this place and understand that we are here because of the sacrifices forced upon them. By recognizing these communities, we honor their legacy, their lives, and their descendants.
