Our second NSSLHA Gives Back event is happening this Thursday!
The Clackamas Education Service District is hosting a Spring Cultural Event, and SLP Teresa Bárcenas has invited us to join the fun & support our community.
2nd NSSLHA Gives Back Event Details:
Date: Thursday, May 7
Time: 3:00–7:00 PM (includes setup and cleanup; feel free to join for any portion)
Location: 13455 SE 97th Ave, Clackamas, OR 97015
Volunteer Roles
Before: Set up tables/chairs, decorate, label food allergens, prepare eating areas
During: Welcome and guide families, assist with sign-in and food areas, engage with students, support activities, model communication
After: Clean up, reorganize tables/chairs, restore the space

About the Event
Teresa Bárcenas is a bilingual SLP with Clackamas ESD who specializes in AAC services. She organizes community events that promote inclusion, cultural awareness, and connection for students and families who use AAC. This Spring Cultural Event is a family-friendly gathering for students, families, and staff.
