Hello everyone,

We are just 2 days away from the virtual Sociopolitical Climate Listening and Sharing Event!

It’s Happening this Thursday @ February 26 from 6:00–8:00 PM

Event Details: 

• This event was designed in collaboration with Dr. Teresa Roberts, EdD, CCC-SLP, in response to current national initiatives, incidents, crises.

• The intent is to create space to reflect on how the sociopolitical climate may be impacting us personally, professionally, and collectively.

• The event will feature a small panel of speech-language pathologists with diverse clinical backgrounds, cultural identities, and lived experiences. 

• Following the panel, attendees will be invited to participate in an extended debrief and discussion period (an additional 30 minutes) to share thoughts, feelings, concerns, and strategies in a supportive space.

All SPHR students, faculty, and, community members are welcome to attend. Feel free to share the attached flyer.
