Dr. Lindsay Romasanta joins PSU as Assistant Vice President
of Global Diversity & Inclusion


The Division of Global Diversity & Inclusion (GDI) is pleased to welcome Dr. Lindsay Romasanta as Assistant Vice President of Global Diversity & Inclusion. Dr. Romasanta joined us on July 12th, and brings to this position over a decade of extensive experience and progressive leadership to advance student success efforts, with a focus on underrepresented populations. She most recently served as the Director of Student Success Programs at UC San Diego. She also serves as the inaugural co-editor of NASPA's Journal of First-Generation Student Success. More information about Lindsay can be found in her resume.

Lindsay will oversee the Disability Resource Center, Native American Student and Community Center, the Veterans Resource Center, and Student Legal Services. She will also be working with Perla Pinedo, who oversees the Cultural Resource Centers, Multicultural Retention Services, TRIO Student Support Services and TRIO Pre-College Programs. In addition, Lindsay will be a critical partner with GDI Vice President Ame Lambert in advancing our institutional equity and justice efforts.

Disability Resource Center

The DRC is committed to making university life accessible to all students with disabilities by identifying, evaluating, and reducing/eliminating barriers to student access and equity. The DRC also strives to foster community, and creates opportunities to promote disability culture.

Native American Student & Community Center

The Native American Student & Community Center (NASCC) is a gathering space to celebrate and empower student success through culturally relevant programming, academic support, and inter-generational community engagement to preserve and perpetuate inter-tribal connection for Native American/Alaskan and Native/Pacific Islander students, and our allies through tradition, ceremony, and storytelling.

Veterans Resource Center

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) connects student veterans, service members and their families with a variety of services specific to their individual needs, support the transition “from rucksack to backpack,” and to help them to connect with one another.

Student Legal Services

Student Legal Services empowers PSU students to succeed in their academic endeavors by providing access to justice. We address legal issues that impact students’ educational and career goals through legal advice, representation, mentorship, community partnerships, and education.

Cultural Resource Centers

The Cultural Resource Centers (CRCs) provide student leadership, employment, and volunteer opportunities; student resources such as computer labs, event, lounge and study spaces; and extensive programming. All PSU students are welcome in our spaces.
MRS site

Multicultural Retention Services

MRS provides academic support, advising, referrals, and advocacy to students who are first generation, low income and/or from diverse and multicultural backgrounds. We strive to ensure the academic success, retention and graduation of students through structured programs.
TRIO SSS Site

TRIO Student Support Services

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a college retention and graduation program, which helps students develop the academic skills and personal development necessary to successfully pursue and complete a college degree.

TRIO Pre-College Programs

These pre-college programs are designed to improve students' academic and study skills in high school, to develop their career and educational plans, and assists low income and first generation students in learning about careers and college majors in higher education.
