UNST just added a new Capstone section for summer. Would you please share the information with advisors? We'd love to get the word out about this fabulous Capstone! Best, Seanna

This Capstone offers students an analysis of social justice theory; a foundation for understanding popular education; a survey of leadership and conflict resolution models; and an application of these principles in community settings. Students will work in small groups with a community partner delivering youth focused programming on cultural celebration, leadership development and personal achievement. Student groups provide additional support for program delivery while learning about program facilitation, design and coordination.
