Hi Karen, I'm hiring for a really exciting and unique position, and I'm hoping you can help me get the word out on the PACE email list!

Portland Community College is hiring our first First Year Mentorship Coordinator for Queer & Trans Student Success. This is a shared position between First Year Experience and the Queer & Trans Student Success Department that will spend 50% of their time engaging first year PCC students with coaching support and 50% of their time coordinating a peer mentorship program centering first year queer, trans, and gender-expansive students through an Academic & Career Pathways framework. The coordinator will report to the Director for Queer & Trans Student Success, and work closely with the FYE Coordinator. We're looking for a candidate with a strong racial justice lens who has experience centering the needs and voices of QTBIPOC individuals and communities. Review our posting and Success Criteria for more details.

The full salary range is $56,139 to $97,344 (starting salary expected to be Step 1-3 $56,139 to $60,139) along with a generous benefits package.

Apply by June 25th: https://pcc.csod.com/ats/careersite/JobDetails.aspx?id=2190&site=10

Please reach out to me directly or to our HR team at pcc...@pcc.edu with any questions.
