This is a paid 20-hour per week position with NAMI Clackamas for a Spanish-community Outreach and Education Coordinator. This job requires excellent interpersonal and bilingual communication skills, strong organizational abilities to work with multiple clients and partners, and awareness of basic mental health concepts. This would be a great fit for public health, social work, or students interested in serving local Spanish speaking populations with regard to mental health support. Interested candidates can see the job description and apply on NAMI's website here: https://www.namicc.org/employment. A PDF of the position description is also attached.

For this particular role (and others with NAMI Clackamas) some students can qualify to receive 20% off of their PSU tuition for the terms they are enrolled while also working at NAMI Clackamas in addition to the funds they will be paid for the work.

Please share with any students or recent grads who you think would be interested in this role!

Hi Marisa.

NAMI Clackamas has another job opening, this time for a Spanish-community Outreach and Education Coordinator.

The job description is attached and available on our website

I am also forwarding it to Savio Sanchez at PSU's La Casa Latina Student Center.

This is a 20-hour-per-week role, and it can be combined with our 20-hour-per-week Peer Support Specialist role if someone is looking for a full 40 hours. But just 20 hours is enough for any PSU student in this role to receive the 20% tuition refund.

Let me know if you have any questions,
Sue
