The Postsecondary, Adult, and Continuing Education (PACE) program is pleased to announce our Summer Term 2026 course offerings. Registration will open next week, and students are encouraged to plan their schedules in consultation with their advisor.

ELP 554: Philosophy of Education (CRN 80316)
Instructor: Ramin Farahmandpur
4 credits | Online (WEB)
Course Description: Study and comparison of the philosophical bases of educational ideas and of the educational implications of philosophical thought.
A required foundations course in the M.A./M.S. in Postsecondary, Adult, and Continuing Education, as well as other master’s programs in the Department of Leadership, Learning, and Counseling.

ELP 508: Workshop in Academic and Career Advising (CRN 80311)

1 credit | Online (WEB)
Course Description: Explore professional skills and knowledge for careers in academic advising, career counseling, and life mentoring/coaching in higher education and human resources organizations, including certification options. Concurrently, register for the optional ELP 509 Practicum for hands-on experience.
