Reimagine Education Through Critical and Transformative Lenses

Explore critical, decolonial, feminist, and intersectional approaches to educational philosophy that center power, identity, knowledge, and justice.

Core Questions:

What counts as knowledge, and who decides?
How do we educate ethically in a structurally unjust society?
How can we center marginalized voices in transformative pedagogy?

What You'll Study:

Indigenous, Black feminist, queer, and critical intersectional frameworks
Alternative epistemologies that challenge dominant educational thought
Designing inclusive learning spaces that foster collective liberation

Integrated Field Experience (30 hours): No separate placement required! Complete your field work within your current job by:

Analyzing workplace practices through philosophical frameworks
Implementing course concepts in your current role
Reflecting on professional decisions using course readings
