Student Leaders for Service (SLS)
Take your skills to the
next level with the Student Leaders for Service
(2025-26) leadership program, where you'll gain
hands-on experience with your top community
partners! Serve as a volunteer or intern with a
local nonprofit 4-6 hours each week, digging into
a community-based role that speaks to your
interest & experience. Whether your passion is
education, hunger, health, social justice,
sustainability, or something else, SLS positions
range every year in focus and can apply to all
sorts of interests and majors. All SLS members
participate in Friday morning leadership meetings,
develop service projects in teams, and act as
service ambassadors on campus to get other
students involved.

2025-26 Eco-Explorers Mentor Garden/STEM Club Lead: Are you passionate about education, youth mentorship, and supporting a team of PSU students working with elementary school students on STEM Education and Social/Emotional learning through a bilingual youth garden club? Step up as a Team Lead for the 2026-2027 school year -- and gain a $600/term leadership scholarship in the process!
