new and continuing PACE students!
The
Summer course schedule will be available on April 21, and registration begins
April 28. The PACE program has a limited number of summer course offerings,
listed below:
- ELP 554:
Philosophy of Education (4 credits)
This course can count as one of the four core required courses or be taken
as an elective.
- If you’ve
already taken ELP 551: Social Foundations of Education, you may
register for ELP 554 as an elective/specialization.
- If you have not
taken ELP 551, ELP 554 may be taken to fulfill one of your core
requirements.
- ELP 508:
Academic and Career Advising (1 credit)
This one-credit course will be taught by Dr. Christine Cress.
- ELP 506:
Self-Directed Learning and ELP 509: Internship/Practicum
Dr. Michael Smith will serve as faculty of record for both.
- You may
register for 1 to 4 credits for each of these courses, depending on your
learning goals and program plan.
