LOCATION: Science Building One (VSC), Science Research and Teaching Center (SRTC)
DURATION: 9/3/2024 to 10/11/2024 from 7:00:00 AM to 3:00:00 PM
PROJECT INFORMATION: As part of the SB1 renovation, the sky bridge connecting SB1(VSC) to SRTC will receive updated paint, Bird safe glass and metal paneling. To perform this the exterior needs cleaned and prepped. A boom lift will periodically be required on mill st. closing alternating halves of the walkway. Pedestrian traffic between SB1 and SRTC will be affected during this time as overhead work is occurring.
PROJECT BENEFITS: Providing a new architectural finishes on the sky bridge as part of the new Vernier Science Center.
IMPACT: Pedestrian traffic along SW Mill Street between 10th and 11th will be altered from 7:00AM to 3:00PM from 9/3/24 to 10/11/24
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Pedestrians will still be able to pass, alternately can use the breezeway on the north side of SRTC to get through the area. Accessible route will be open on half of mill st. at a time
