PROJECT INFORMATION: FPM will be conducting tests to ensure that the building's fire systems are functioning properly.
PROJECT BENEFITS: The fire panel testing will meet the National Electrical Code requirements for fire panel testing. The testing will also meet the requirements for the City of Portland and keep us compliant.
IMPACT: Testing will have a minor impact on the building and its occupants, as FPM staff will need to enter every room with a test pole to check the smoke detectors. Some ceiling tiles will need to be removed to properly perform tests. There will be localized beeping at the fire panel, but the building's fire alarms will not be activated.
