PROJECT INFORMATION: General Project Update: Air & Water balancing and commissioning of the new Air Handlers is on going to ensure the new equipment can be operated properly and at their full capacities.
AHU-1 Failed Chilled Water Valve: As a part of the commissioning process it was recently discovered that the existing chilled water valve that serves AHU-1 has failed and needs to be replaced. Currently CPC is working to procure a replacement valve as quickly as possible. Once a new valve is procured and the replacement is scheduled a follow up impact notice will be sent out. Final commissioning and air/water balancing can't be completed until this valve is replaced.
PROJECT BENEFITS: To replace two aging Air Handler Units that are beyond their useful life. This project will improve occupant comfort by improving airflow, making the building's HVAC system more reliable and maintainable.
IMPACT: Due to this valve failure currently floors 1,2,3 & 8 as well as the lower and upper parking levels do not have air conditioning. With warm outdoor temperatures expected in the forecast users should anticipate elevated temperatures in these spaces.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: None.
