UPCOMING IMPACT NOTICE

LOCATION: Smith Memorial Student Union (SMSU)
DURATION: 6/1/2026 from 4:30:00 AM to 7:00:00 AM
PROJECT INFORMATION: Elevator 6 will remain out of service 5/7/26 - 7/24/26 for upgrades and modernization.
Upcoming construction activities:
6/1 - Elevator motor equipment and material delivery to sub-basement level via Elevator 7 (out of service from 4:30am – 5:30am) and then Elevator 9 from (out of service from 5:30am - 6:30am).
PROJECT BENEFITS: Elevator 6 will be more efficient and reliable.
IMPACT: For the time durations listed above, Elevator 6, 7 and freight elevator 9 will be unavailable for general use by building users or vendors. Occupants should plan to use alternate elevators or stairs during these times. Elevators 15 will remain available for general use. Service elevator 10 will be available to users with authorized badge/key access. Reference attached map for elevator locations.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Prior to building opening at 8:00am, both Elevators 7 & 10 will be unavailable for listed times. Subbasement, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor levels will inaccessible to individuals with mobility disabilities. Mezzanine Elevator 15 will remain open for the duration of work, for access to mezzanine levels. Service Elevator 10 will remain available to users with authorized badge and key access.
