LOCATION: Richard and Maurine Neuberger Center (RMNC)
DURATION: 2/21/2026 from 7:00:00 AM to 7:00:00 PM
PROJECT INFORMATION: The two main building Air Handling Units (AHU-01 & 02) will be fully replaced as a part of this project. This project will have multiple impacts throughout it's duration that include three crane picks, brief electrical shut downs and impacts to the building's Heating Ventilation and Cooling Systems (HVAC).
This notice is specific to crane work.
Saturday, 2/21/25, building will be closed due to a crane pick that will lift equipment and materials to the roof (see impacts below). This will be the final crane pick of the project.
PROJECT BENEFITS: To replace two aging Air Handler Units that are beyond their useful life. This project will improve occupant comfort by improving airflow, making the building's HVAC system more reliable and maintainable.
IMPACT: See attached map. The RMNC building will be closed 7am-7pm on Saturday 2/21/26. General access is prohibited during the crane pick. Badge access will be turned off for building occupants. All access to SW 4th Ave building entrance is prohibited. SW 4th Ave, and sidewalks on East side of SW 4th Ave, in front of the RMNC building, will be closed 7am-7pm. The B1 & B2 parking level will be closed 7:00am-5:30pm. The pedestrian trail south of the RMNC Building, sidewalks on West side of SW 4th Ave, and SW Market St. sidewalks will remain open.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: RMNC building will be closed 7am-7pm. General access is prohibited during the crane pick. Badge access will be turned off for building occupants. All access to SW 4th Ave building entrance is prohibited.
The pedestrian trail south of the RMNC Building will remain open.
The B1 & B2 parking levels will be closed 7:00am-5:30pm.
