UPCOMING IMPACT NOTICE

LOCATION: Vanport Building (VB)

DURATION: 4/7/2026 from 7:00:00 AM to 12:00:00 PM

PROJECT INFORMATION: A replacement insulated glass unit (IGU) will be installed on Tuesday, April 7 by Culver Glass with work beginning at 7:00AM and continuing through noon. Work will occur inside Ovation Coffee & Tea's premises and Ovation Coffee and Tea's owner has approved work to occur during normal business hours. Thank you for your patience and understanding while this work is completed.

PROJECT BENEFITS: A broken IGU will be replaced.

IMPACT: Ovation Coffee and Tea will be impacted as a 10 foot area inside their seating area will be sectioned off for a scissor lift to operate while the installation occurs. One of their entrances will be available intermittently from 7:00 a.m. to noon in order for the scissor lift to be delivered and removed. Also, beeping noise from the scissor lift will be heard and the smell of glass cleaner (and an alcohol based cleaner) will be present intermittently. Vanport Building floors two through seven are not expected to be impacted by any audible noise or vibrations or odor. No power tools will be used for the actual IGU installation.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: One entrance to Ovation Coffee & Tea will be impacted intermittently and a 10 foot area inside their premises will be sectioned off. However, Ovation Coffee & Tea will be operating under their normal business hours. Public right-of-way access will be impacted as the scissor lift maneuvers from the sidewalk to the interior of Ovation Coffee and Tea and when it leaves the job site. However, regular pedestrian foot traffic will be accessible at all times.
