LOCATION: Fariborz Maseeh Hall (FMH)

DURATION: 4/29/2026 from 7:00:00 AM to 9:00:00 AM

PROJECT INFORMATION: Plumbing maintenance will be replacing flush valves in the men’s basement restroom. This work is necessary to address "water hammer" issues (loud banging in the pipes) caused by the current hardware.

PROJECT BENEFITS: This maintenance will eliminate pipe noise and vibration, ensuring a quieter environment and a more reliable plumbing system for all building occupants.

IMPACT: -Restroom Closure: The men’s basement restroom will be fully closed to all users during the two-hour work window. -Noise: Occupants in the immediate vicinity of the basement may hear occasional mechanical noise or tools during the valve replacement.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: The basement men's restroom will be unavailable. For an accessible alternative, please use the men’s restrooms located on the first floor or higher levels of FMH.
