PROJECT BENEFITS: To replace two aging Air Handler Units that are beyond their useful life. This project will improve occupant comfort by improving air flow, making the building's HVAC system more reliable and maintainable.
IMPACT: 12/15 - 12/20, 6:00am-5pm, daily. During start-up of the AHU-01 Air handler, the unit will be tested and adjusted. Occupants on floors served by the AHU-01 system (Lower Parking, Upper Parking, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 8th Floor Levels) may experience fluctuating temperatures and airflow at various times, and should consider bringing additional clothing layers. AHU-02 zones (4th-7th Floor, 9th Floor) should not be affected.
Begin PHASE 2: Between 12/22 and 12/24 (exact date TBD) there will be a one-day shut down of the AHU-02 system, at which time there will be no heating or ventilation provided to the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th Floors. Dates of AHU-02 shutdown are tentative, watch for future impact notices with updates.
