UPCOMING IMPACT NOTICE

LOCATION: Smith Memorial Student Union (SMSU)
DURATION: 6/11/2026 to TBD
PROJECT INFORMATION: Elevator 7 in the Smith Memorial Student Union (SMSU) is temporarily out of service for necessary repairs.
PROJECT BENEFITS: To return elevator back to full operation.
IMPACT: During this period, there will be no direct elevator access to the upper levels within the SMSU building. Occupants needing to travel between floors will need to use the stairwells or utilize alternative detour routes via adjacent buildings. Concurrently, Elevator 6 remains out of service for ongoing upgrades and modernization.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Access to the 3rd and 4th floors of SMSU is temporarily unavailable from within the building. Alternate routes can be accessed via the skybridges connecting from Cramer Hall (3rd & 4th Floor) and Fariborz Maseeh Hall (FMH).
