DURATION: 1/7/2026
PROJECT INFORMATION: Stump from a removed tree on the north side of Mill Street between 11th and 12th Avenue will be grinded down.
PROJECT BENEFITS: This landscape project will remove a diseased stump and tripping hazard and flatten the landscape area adjacent to a sidewalk.
IMPACT: The north side of Mill Street between 11th and 12th Avenue will be taken up with stump grinding equipment for 30 minutes between the hours of 8 and 11am on 1/7/2026.
One lane of traffic (south side of Mill Street) will remain open for vehicle traffic. Blumell Parking garage East Entrance will remain open. Sidewalk in proximity to stump griding will be closed. Pedestrians can use sidewalk across the street for duration of activity. Candlesticks and signage will be placed at access points to facilitate pedestrians with accessibility issues.
Pedestrians can expect to hear grinding noises for 30 minutes.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Sidewalk in proximity to stump grinding will be closed. Pedestrians can use sidewalk across the street for duration of activity. Candlesticks and signage will be placed at access points to facilitate pedestrians with accessibility issues.
