UPCOMING IMPACT NOTICE

FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION
* * Deans, Directors & Department Chairs: Please distribute to your department personnel * *

LOCATION: Richard and Maurine Neuberger Center (RMNC)

DURATION: 3/11/2026

PROJECT INFORMATION: Earlier today, a strong fuel odor was reported on the B2 level of the RMNC parking garage. Facilities and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) crews investigated and identified the cause as a vehicle fuel leak. The leak is currently being cleaned up, and crews are ventilating the building to clear the air.

PROJECT BENEFITS: This response ensures the removal of hazardous materials from the facility and restores indoor air quality for all building users.

IMPACT: Occupants may continue to notice a fuel smell as the air is flushed. These smells are expected to dissipate quickly.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: The lingering fuel odor may cause discomfort for individuals with respiratory issues or those who are sensitive to strong smells.
