LOCATION: Richard and Maurine Neuberger Center (RMNC)
DURATION: 8/16/2025 to 12/31/2025
PROJECT INFORMATION: The two main building Air Handling Units (AHU-01 & 02) will be fully replaced as a part of this project. This project will have multiple impacts throughout it's duration that include three crane picks, brief electrical shut downs and impacts to the building's Heating Ventilation and Cooling Systems (HVAC). Future impact notices will be sent out to communicate all project impacts as they come up and in greater detail.
Please note as a part of this project temporary HVAC systems will be installed in the building's penthouse so that the building temperatures will stay maintained through out this project. No relocation of building users should be required.

PROJECT BENEFITS: Replace two aging Air Handler Units that are beyond their useful life. This project should reduce energy costs, make the building's HVAC system more reliable and maintainable.
IMPACT:
- General construction noise & vibration shall be anticipated through out the duration of this project, especially for those users located on the 9th floor of the building.
- 08/16 - 09/15: Initial project mobilization & Temporary Heating and Cooling to be installed.
- 09/01 - 10/22: AHU-01 demolition and replacement will occur. (Phase 1).
- 10/16 - 12/05: AHU-02 demolition and replacement will occur. (Phase 2).
- 12/05 - 12/31: Final HVAC system tuning and commissioning; project close out activities

PROJECT INFORMATION: UPDATE 8/29/25: The RMNC Air Handling Unit (AHU-01 & 02) Upgrades project start date has been delayed, due the cancellation of a crane pick planned for Saturday 9/6/25. A future impact notice will be sent out to communicate project impacts once the updated schedule is available.
