LOCATION: Simon Benson House (SBH)

DURATION: 6/2/2026 to 6/3/2026 from 8:00:00 AM to 3:00:00 PM

PROJECT INFORMATION: The roof and gutters of Simon Benson House are in need of cleaning prior to the graduation season. A contractor has been hired to perform the cleaning work as well as apply a treatment to the roof, to deter current and future moss growth. This work will be performed with a boom lift around the exterior of the property.

PROJECT BENEFITS: This work will improve the general aesthetic of the building as well as improve the function and longevity of the roof and gutters.

IMPACT: There will be sustained crew and machine activity around the exterior of the building. A work zone delineation will be maintained around the lift and under any potential areas of falling debris as the work progresses.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: There will be short durations of time when building access points will be closed, due to the overhead work. Signage will be posted inside these doors as necessary to inform the building occupants of the exterior hazard. If ADA access is necessary, or in the case of an emergency, all work will halt to allow uninhibited access and egress.
