LOCATION: Campus Public Safety (CPS)
DURATION: 9/8/2025 to 9/18/2025
PROJECT INFORMATION: The existing Boiler Flue that serves the building's main heating hot water heaters will be replaced as a part of this project.
Future impact notices will be sent out as required.
PROJECT BENEFITS: To eliminate a leak that was created by the existing flue, compliance with current building code requirements and to improve the overall functionality of the building's space and water heating systems.
IMPACT: Reference the attached for the areas of work for more information. In general and through out the durations listed above, periodic noise and vibrations may be experienced by building users. This project will require two core drills between the interior and exterior of the building that will create a brief period of substantial noise and vibration to the building users. The specific day & time of the core drilling work will be coordinated with the building users so to have as minimal impact as possible to the building occupants.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: While this work is occurring, at times the ally way between the University Services Building and the CPS building will be closed along with the exterior door that is connected to it.
The main building entry's on Montgomery St. and SW Broadway will not be impacted by this work. All ADA access to/from the building will be maintained through out the duration of this work. Reference the attached.
