PROJECT INFORMATION: Location: Cramer Hall — Rooms 345 & 346 Duration of Impact: Friday, April 17, 2:00 PM – Sunday, April 19, 10:00 PM
Upcoming Work:
Removal of flooring and wall materials in Rooms 345 and 346 to prepare the space for future office
construction. Hazardous material abatement will be conducted by a State of Oregon–licensed contractor in
full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. To minimize disruption to building
occupants, demolition activities will occur during off/weekend hours.
PROJECT BENEFITS: This work creates several new faculty and staff office spaces, improving space efficiency and modernizing facility infrastructure.
IMPACT: Setup: Containment barriers will be erected starting at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 17. During this setup phase, there will be no impact to building occupants.
● Noise & Vibration: Occupants should expect significant noise and vibrations from Friday, April 17 at 5pm – Sunday, April 20 at 9pm due to demolition activities.
● Elevator Usage: The Mill Street/North elevator will be used intermittently for debris removal Contractor will follow safety protocols to maintain building cleanliness.
● Entrance Obstruction: The Mill Street entrance will be blocked occasionally during debris
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Alternative Route: The Montgomery Street entrance and the South elevator will not be affected.
Consider using this alternative accessible route for entering and existing the building.
