PROJECT INFORMATION: UPDATED WITH DATE CHANGES - The two main building Air Handling Units (AHU-01 & 02) will be fully replaced as a part of this project. This project will have multiple impacts throughout it's duration that include three crane picks, brief electrical shut downs and impacts to the building's Heating Ventilation and Cooling Systems (HVAC). Future impact notices will be sent out to communicate all project impacts as they come up and in greater detail.

12/15 - 12/20-   AHU-01Air Handler - unit start-up

12/19- Begin PHASE 2: Shut down of AHU-02 Air Handler and connection of temporary heating and ventilation system (date of AHU-02 shutdown are tentative, watch for future impact notices with updates)

PROJECT BENEFITS: Replace two aging Air Handler Units that are beyond their useful life. This project will improve occupant comfort by improving airflow, making the building's HVAC system more reliable and maintainable.

IMPACT: 12/15 - 12/20, 6:00am-5pm, daily. During start-up of the AHU-01 Air handler, the unit will be tested and adjusted. Occupants on floors served by the AHU-01 system (Lower Parking, Upper Parking, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 8th Floor Levels), may experience fluctuating temperatures and airflow at various times, and should consider bringing additional clothing layers. These impacts are expected to be most significant on WEDNESDAY,12/15. AHU-02 zones (4th-7th Floor, 9th Floor) should not be affected. Begin PHASE 2: on Friday 12/19 from 8am-12pm, there will be a shut down of the AHU-02 system, at which time no heating or ventilation provided to the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th Floors. Following the shutdown, temporary HVAC will provide heating and ventilation.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: The freight elevator will be unavailable for short periods of time when the contractor is using to move equipment and materials. Building users will need to use an alternate elevator at these times.
