LOCATION: Broadway Residence Hall (BDWY)
DURATION: 11/20/2025 to 11/21/2025
PROJECT INFORMATION: Beginning Thursday, November 20th through Friday November 21st, the electrical contractor will be returning onsite to complete installation of the sump pump within the utility vault. Work will take place in the building's electrical room as well as in the driveway both on the North side of the building where the utility vault is located. Work is planned to occur from 7am to 4pm.
A brief electrical shutdown will occur similar to the last work performed. I subsequent update will be sent out once the exact day/time has been established.
PROJECT BENEFITS: Fully functioning sump pump within the existing utility vault.
IMPACT: - In order to connect the sump pump to building power a temporary power shutdown will be required. The shutdown will last approximately 1 hour. This shutdown will primarily impact power outlet receptacles for the following areas: 101, L101, V101, 102, C102, V102, V102 door, 130, loading dock & controller
Separate arrangements will be made with specifically affected individuals.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: - The vault in the driveway will be sectioned off with danger tape and the contractor will be actively working in this area and at the metal enclosures.
