PROJECT INFORMATION: RMNC Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Upgrade Project - Testing and Balancing
As part of the RMNC Air Handler Upgrade Project, the building systems will undergo Air System Testing and Balancing to confirm airflows are as designed. Contractor will require approximately two days for each floor, according to the following schedule:
3/20 & 3/23 7th Floor
3/23 - 3/25 3rd Floor
3/25 - 3/26 7th Floor
3/27 & 4/3 8th Floor
3/30 - 3/31 5th Floor
4/1 - 4/2 1st Floor
4/7 - 4/8 2nd Floor
4/8 - 4/9 9th floor
4/10 - 4/17 Punchlist and make-up dates
These dates are flexible, if any adjustments are needed to accommodate occupants or events.
PROJECT BENEFITS: Balancing the HVAC system improves system performance and improves occupant comfort.
IMPACT: TAB personnel will need to access ceiling HVAC supply all floor spaces to are used to working in occupied spaces, and accommodating occupant needs
would begin in the penthouse and move to the unoccupied 4th floor on Monday/Tuesday
can proceed with TAB on each floor in any sequence
estimate it will take about a day per floor
will only need to be in each room/space about 5 minutes to measure flow
would not generally not to get above the ceiling, unless they need to troubleshoot a broken terminal unit box
