DURATION: 7/17/2026 from 5:00:00 AM to 11:59:00 PM

PROJECT INFORMATION: SMSU Mezzanine Elevator (Car 15), Building Main Elevator (Car 6)

Unavailable As part of the SMSU Critical Infrastructure Project, the SMSU Mezzanine Elevator (Car 15) will undergo a comprehensive modernization. This elevator serves the Basement, First Floor, Mezzanine 1, Mezzanine 2, and Mezzanine 3 levels of the building.

UPCOMING WOK ACTIVITIES: Flooring removal and replacement. To complete this work safely and efficiently, the elevator will be fully shut down and unavailable for use at any time during the construction period.

SCHEDULE DELAY: Elevator 6 will remain out until 9/10/26 for upgrades and modernization. Work has been delayed from 7/24/26 due to unforeseen conditions.

PROJECT BENEFITS: To replace critical building equipment that is beyond their useful life and which will improve the efficiency and reliability of Elevator 15.

IMPACT: During the shutdown of the SMS Mezzanine Elevator (Car 15), access to the Basement and Mezzanine 1, Mezzanine 2, and Mezzanine 3 levels will be rerouted through the adjacent stairwell (S105) and the service elevator (E116). The service elevator (E116) is located within the CESU suite (Suite (119).

Occupants should plan to use alternate elevators or stairs during these times Reference attached map for elevator locations.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: If someone requires egress during shut-down and is unable to exit, they may contact CPSO at (503) 725-4407 for assistance.
