LOCATION: Richard and Maurine Neuberger Center (RMNC)
DURATION: 6/15/2026 to 6/16/2026 from 8:00:00 AM to 3:00:00 PM
PROJECT INFORMATION: A previous core drill in the sub-floor is sinking and causing deformation and a minor tripping hazard in the flooring in 542. Access to the underside of the issue is in 406. Maintenance will need to work in the ceiling of 406 to brace and cap the core drill penetration so it can be properly filled with concrete from above in 542. Once concrete fill has cured, the flooring in 542 will be replaced.
PROJECT BENEFITS: This work will restore the integrity of the sub-floor so the surface flooring has adequate support and can be restored to its original aesthetic and function.
IMPACT: During this work, there may be intermittent noise, mild odors, and minor vibrations. The location of the issue will result in a temporary access restriction in both rooms, while work is being done and products are curing to proper strength.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: During work, access to 542 will be restricted, as the flooring issue is in the middle of the only doorway accessing the space. Access 406 will be partially restricted only while the ceiling brace work is underway.
