LOCATION: Smith Memorial Student Union (SMSU)

DURATION: 9/3/2024 to 9/4/2024

PROJECT INFORMATION: A repair is needed to one of the supply fans for the heating and cooling system in SMSU. The entire southeast section of the building from the subbasement to the 4th floor is affected. These areas of the building may be stuffy or overly warm. This is being treated as an urgent repair and the current target for completion is the end of the day Wednesday, September 4th. Updates will be provided if this changes.

PROJECT BENEFITS: Return the heating and cooling system in SMSU to full functionality.

IMPACT: Areas of SMSU may experience stuffy and warm conditions until the supply fan repair is completed, especially during hot weather.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Individuals with a sensitivity to temperatures may find areas of the building uncomfortable and may need to conduct work elsewhere until repairs are completed.
