LOCATION: Fourth Avenue Building (FAB)

DURATION: 4/18/2026

PROJECT INFORMATION: Contractor will be drilling and cutting concrete in the pit of elevators #46 & #47 (yellow highlights on attached maps).

This is a part of the project to modernize the elevators in FAB. This includes upgrading motors, pulleys, raceways, and where relevant, the cab interiors.

PROJECT BENEFITS: Once completed, the elevators in FAB will meet or exceed code standards, thus improving reliability and increasing the safety of all users.

IMPACT: Loud noise and vibrations can be expected in nearby areas throughout the day. One of the elevators will remain in service. Reference attached maps.

ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Only one of the elevators will be operational, loud noises and and vibrations may affect those with sensitivities to either.
