UPCOMING IMPACT NOTICE

FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

LOCATION: Science Research and Teaching Center (SRTC)

DURATION: 2/23/2026 from 10:00:00 AM to 11:30:00 AM

PROJECT INFORMATION: Capital Projects and Construction will be walking various contractors throughout the building to bid on upgrading the lighting throughout the building.

PROJECT BENEFITS: This will allow us to get competitive pricing to upgrade some the lighting and lighting controls in SRTC.

IMPACT: A large group of people will be moving through the building, investigating existing conditions, particularly of the ceilings. They will be looking above ceiling tiles in various rooms. While the large group may temporarily hinder pathways, they will not block traversal through any part of the building. Reference attached maps for areas of interest on this walk. We will avoid classrooms while classes are in session.
