DURATION: 8/13/2026 to 12/31/2026
PROJECT INFORMATION: Beginning Thursday, August 13th the contractor will begin to mobilize and set up the jobsite to prepare for construction activities. This work includes scaffolding and fencing assembly. The contractor will have full access to the 2nd floor and the Hall St breezeway between Broadway and Park Ave. The entire South-Central Stairwell will be closed down for contractor access to the 2nd floor.

PROJECT BENEFITS: The new PSU Student Health and Counseling Center that will be relocating to the second floor of FMH.
IMPACT: - Contractors will be mobilizing to begin construction activities (including scaffolding & fencing assembly)
- Upcoming work includes saw cutting, jackhammering, Wall building, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing installation, etc
- The construction activities will result in noises and vibrations and will be communicated at each phase of work
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: - The second floor of FMH will not be accessible. Doors will be locked and the elevator will not exit to Levels 2 or 2M. Access to both skybridges between SMSU and FMH will remain unimpeded.
- The Hall St breezeway between SW Broadway and SW Park Ave will be fenced off for construction activities
-The South-Central Stairwell will be closed down for contractor access to the 2nd floor
