PROJECT INFORMATION: The annual Party in the Park Event is occurring Wednesday October 1, from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. This is a large resource fair for new students and the campus community. An estimated 500 attendees will be in the area during the event.
PROJECT BENEFITS: Hosted by the Student Activities and Leadership Programs and Campus Recreation, Party in the Park is PSU's annual fall quarter student engagement fair. Join us in the PSU Park Blocks to learn about our amazing student organizations, leadership opportunities, jobs, internships, volunteering, and on-campus events.
IMPACT: The event will run from 11am-2pm on October 1. During the event, a high number of people will be in the area, tables, tents, and other installations will be present, and amplified noise will be used. Additionally, Set up and take down of the event will occur as follows:
- Tuesday, 9/30: Tent set up from 7:00AM-5:00PM
- Wednesday, 10/1: Tables/chairs set up from 7:30AM - 9:00AM. Tear down from 3:30PM - 6:00PM
- Thursday, 10/2: Tent teardown 7:00AM-1:00PM
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Access to areas will be available, though additional installations will be present
and a higher concentration of attendees will be present in the Park Blocks. Amplified noise will be utilized during event hours, and a noise permit has been secured.
