LOCATION: Community Rec Field (CRF), West Heating Plant (WHP)
DURATION: 2/20/2026 from 5:00:00 AM to 9:00:00 AM
PROJECT INFORMATION: Clean Harbors, Inc. PSU's chemical disposal contractor will be neutralizing and preparing chemicals for shipment off-campus.
PROJECT BENEFITS: Reduced risk of highly volatile chemicals in PSU labs and properties.
IMPACT: Clean Harbors staff will be working at the end of the roadway by the West Heating Plant (WHP) adjacent to the Stott Community Field. The activities will be in the fire lane at this location from 5:00 am to 9:00 am to support their operations managing the hazardous material.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: The west walkway and driveway between West Heating Plant (WHP) and Hoffman Hall will be inaccessible during this time frame. Access to Hoffman Hall will be limited to through the Walk of the Heroines and east side of Stott Community Field.
Additionally, access to the Facilities Landscape Yard and WHP will be limited to the entrance behind Peter Stott Building.
