LOCATION: Vanport Building (VB)
DURATION: 5/13/2026 from 6:00:00 AM to 7:00:00 AM
PROJECT INFORMATION: Perform Monthly NFPA 110 automatic transfer switch test and emergency generator run. Test will last 40 minutes.
PROJECT BENEFITS: Regular testing of the emergency power systems of the building is required by NFPA 110 and should be tested to make sure the systems function properly in an emergency.
IMPACT: There will be a brief flicker in lighting and elevators will return the to lobby and park. Only elevators powered by emergency power will then resume service. The generator can be heard from the street, and a small bit of diesel exhaust will be detected.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Some elevators will not be operating during the test. This will cause some delay in travel up and down the floors.
