Fee Funded Areas,

We would like to extend our appreciation for helping us complete our most difficult task of the year: allocating the FY27 Budget. We concluded the final deliberations today, December 12th. The discussion and results of the final allocation votes can be found in the official minutes for December 10th and the unofficial minutes for December 12th. Additional details regarding the discussion of your budget can be found via the following resources:

The SFC has increased our budgeted salary savings to better capture our projected salary savings at the end of the year. This method was utilized to ensure that the incidental fee does not increase for FY27. Because of this, it is important for FFAs who rely on end-of-year salary savings to take advantage of mid-year program changes to fully utilize their budgets as the Rollover/Overage process might not be as substantial. This recommendation will be discussed and voted on at the ASPSU Senate Meeting on 1/5/2026.

As a reminder, none of these allocations are truly final until the Board of Trustees (BOT) approval of the Incidental Fee Recommendation in the spring. More info about the BOT meetings can be found here

We appreciate any feedback you may have for us regarding our process and documentation for the Budget Process. Feel free to send this to your SFC liaison or directly to me at asps...@pdx.edu.
