LOCATION: Millar Library (ML)
DURATION: 5/3/2024 to TBD
PROJECT INFORMATION: Contractors and PSU staff will be on site at the Millar Library for cleanup and repair due to interior and exterior damage of the building. Activities include, but are not limited to: Debris disposal, painting, window repair/replacement, electrical work, elevator repair, janitorial cleaning, equipment repair, etc.
More detailed impact notices will be sent out as this work continues.
PROJECT BENEFITS: To return Millar Library to a fully usable space for the PSU community.
IMPACT: - Some aspects of this work may generate noise throughout the library periodically
- Some aspects of this work may generate smells throughout the building, possibly lingering in the immediate area
- There will be a temporary fence around the building and plywood barrier around the entrance of the library for the duration of the project.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: - The library will be closed to the public for the duration of the project.
- There may be dumpsters periodically throughout the day between the South Side of the library and the North side of the Peter Stott Center. Pedestrian foot traffic should remain unobstructed despite the dumpster placement.
