PROJECT INFORMATION: The Portland Sunday Parkways event, organized by the Portland Bureau of Transportation, will take place Downtown on Sunday, 9/14 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The event route runs through the PSU campus and will include street closures, vendor marketplaces, community booths, family-friendly activities, and live entertainment. PROJECT BENEFITS: This event focuses on community engagement, promotion of active transportation, and highlights the amenities and public spaces in Portland.
IMPACT: SW Harrison between Broadway and 4th Ave. Parking Structure 2 will not be accessible due to the route closures. The PSU Park Blocks at Smith Memorial Student Union will be utilized as a marketplace area for the event.
ACCESSIBILITY IMPACTS: Cars will be detoured from the event route. Transit service will be available but with minor delays. Sidewalks will remain open.
