LOCATION: Campus Wide, Fariborz Maseeh Hall (FMH), Smith Memorial Student Union (SMSU)
DURATION: 4/24/2026 from 12:00:00 AM to 7:00:00 AM
PROJECT INFORMATION: On Friday, April 24th a contractor will be removing the electrical metering equipment previously installed on 3/20/26. **THIS WORK WILL BE PERFORMED ON OFF HOURS AS LISTED ABOVE.** This will conclude the data gather as a requirement of the design of the new Student Health And Counseling Center (SHAC). This will result in a series of power shutdowns in the Eastern half of the building. The building will be closed for access during this work.
The contractor will also be installing electrical disconnect switches to the panels. This will allow the panels to be shutdown independently. Should work like this need to occur in the future it would result in a much smaller, localized power shutdown.
PROJECT BENEFITS: This information will help inform the design for the new Student Health and Counseling Center that will be relocating to the second floor of FMH.
IMPACT: -The Eastern half of the building will go through a series of power shutdowns over the course of 7hours from approximately 12am-7am
