Hello, everyone;

This email is forwarded from Jaye Cromwell at Metro. Please note that the Commission will touch on a wide range of topics, one of which is economics.

Metro staff and Council are inviting applications for the Future Vision Commission (FVC) until October 27th!  Please consider applying to the commission and/or sharing this opportunity with your networks. The FVC will guide the development of an updated Future Vision for the greater Portland region. The Future Vision is a guidance document that describes a preferred future for the region in 50 years. This process will touch on a wide range of topics, from land use, transportation and our economy to housing, climate, nature, arts and culture. While the Future Vision is not a policy document, it will create a foundation of shared regional values to guide Metro’s programs, plans and policies into the future.

The Future Vision Commission will bring together a group of people from across the region and beyond that represent a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, jobs and life experience. Visit the Metro website to learn more about the Future Vision Commission and apply.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions (jaye.c...@oregonmetro.gov).

Stay well,
Margie
