Hello, everyone;

The Department of Politics and Global Affairs is hosting two panel discussions next week.
First, on March 6th at 7-8:30 PM we will have a discussion and public forum centered around state funding for arts and culture in Oregon. Supported by PSU College of Urban and Public Affairs and PSU College of the Arts, this event will feature panelists Sean Andries (Chair, Oregon Cultural Trust), Kimberly Howard Wade (Executive Director, Caldera), and Jim Brunberg (Founder, Independent Venues Coalition), moderated by Subashini Ganesan-Forbes (Chair, Oregon Arts Commission). Then, on March 8th at 2-3:30 PM we will have a virtual panel on Zoom titled "Beyond Oslo: Thirty Years of the Peace Process in the Middle East" with Dr. Lindsay Benstead (Professor, Political Science and Director, Middle East Studies Center), Dr. Jehad Alayasa (Asst. Professor of Public Administration & Policy at Birzeit Univ. in West Bank, Palestine), and Dr. Vandy Kanyako (Assoc. Professor and Director, Conflict Resolution), moderated by Dr. Josh Eastin, Assoc.
