Please see this opportunity for women forest landowners and share as you see fit. This is a free virtual discussion group, and people from outside of Pennsylvania are welcome to participate. This is a great way to meet other women managing forests and learn more about options, opportunities, and overcoming challenges.

 

The registration link is in bold at the end of the message below. Please note that dates have been moved since earlier announcements. Enrollment now ends June 12 and discussions take place June 20, 27, and July 11. Thanks!

Women woodland owners of Pennsylvania, are you interested in building a broader vision for your forest? Join our small group discussions exploring legacy planning and climate-smart forestry topics. Experience in forest management and planning is not required.

What to expect:

  • Meet new people in a friendly setting.
  • Work on a vision for your forest.
  • Learn about legacy planning and climate-smart forestry options.
  • Meet forestry professionals in your area.

Discussion groups will be held online Thursday evenings on June 20th, 27th and July 11thth. Participants are expected to attend all meetings and complete several assignments outside of meeting times. This program is hosted by the Forest Owner Carbon and Climate Education program and Penn State Extension. To register click here (enrollment ends June 12th).
