Dear Hazelnut Growers,

We’re reaching out to share an opportunity with your network of growers and agricultural stakeholders. Avellana Agroforestry Cooperative (AAC), in partnership with Thomas Molnar and the Hazelnut Program at Rutgers University and Keystone Development Center, is conducting a Hazelnut Growers Market Analysis Survey to better understand the current and future landscape of hazelnut production in New Jersey and surrounding states.

This survey will help:

• Estimate the potential size of the regional hazelnut market

• Assess future processing and infrastructure needs

• Identify growers interested in participating in a cooperative model

• Support the development of a regional hazelnut industry

Who should participate:
Farmers currently growing hazelnuts, planning to grow hazelnuts, or interested in diversifying into perennial crops.

Time commitment:
Approximately 5–15 minutes
