Hi All,

We are looking to upgrade our irrigation system that is just PVC pipes running from our main well head to hydrants at each field with a manual ball valve for control to the header and drip lines. Our well runs with very high PSI (80 or so) and it makes pressurizing our drip lines difficult and hard to teach just by feel alone. We often have to wait a while to make sure the whole field doesn't overpressurize causing leaks and any minor adjustments at the ball valve change the drip pressure greatly, either over or under pressurized. It also is time consuming to repressurize the entire field if you want to turn only a few lines here or there off. We are trying to make the whole pressurizing routine more efficient, and also easier to teach.

We have tried some pressure regulators from RainFlo but with limited success/unsure of the results. It was hard to know if it was adjusting the pressure or not, even after installing a pressure gauge after it, which never gave any PSI readings.

Ideally we're looking for something to add to our system that would give us data we could share with our crew to make pressurizing easier and faster and more standardized. Any leads to places to call or people to ask about this would be appreciated! Thanks!

Steph
