[Jobs] PA DCNR Community Forestry openings: Section Chief, Workforce Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, and NE PA Regional Specialist

PA DCNR Bureau of Forestry is hiring four permanent, full-time positions in its Community Forestry section, as part of an expansion and reorganization of our Urban and Community Forestry program.
Four positions in process include:
- Section Chief, closes May 13
- Community Forestry Workforce Coordinator, closes May 12
- Administrative Assistant. Closes May 13. The AA will report to the bureau’s Administrative Section and work with the Community Forestry Program.
- One additional position, a Northeastern Regional Community Forestry Specialist, should post in coming days. That will appear on the Commonwealth of PA Jobs board under Community Forestry.
How to apply: Each position is posted internally and externally. There are multiple links to apply. If you have a forestry background, apply through the forest program specialist job classification. If you have a natural resources background, apply through that track. These positions are posted in multiple tracks to be accessible to a broader candidate pool, and the job descriptions and pay grades are the same for either track. If unsure, you can apply through both tracks and will be informed which is the most appropriate for you. The ‘internal’ postings are for current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania employees. All other candidates, including contractors working for the Commonwealth, should apply using the ‘external’ job postings.
